Tamil United Liberation Front leader V. Anandasangaree said, that he has held discussions with several other party leaders to form a new political party.
Anandasangaree said in a media the new party is to be named Democratic Tamil National Front.
However he has held talks with EPDP leader Douglas Devananda, former Deputy Minister Prabha Ganesan and others on forming the new party.
He added that the new party is being launched since the TNA is not addressing the concerns of the Tamil people.
The TULF has seen its popularity diminish in recent years, following the formation of the TNA.
