Satyagraga at Bogala Graphite

Trade unions of Bogala Graphite in  Kegalle  said that workers are staging a satyagraga struggle  in 1,670 feet underground tunnel. They demand salary in crease and other welfare benefits. Their demand includes Rs 5,000 salary increase, festival holidays, insurance and security said, Asst.Secretary of the  Union, T.Hettiarachchi.

Fifty workers are engaged in this struggle inside the tunnel , while 150 members are carrying out their protest on the grounds.
