Embilipitiya Sumith Prasanna’s Forensic Report Biased -Lawyer Udul Premaratne

Sumith Prasanna died early this year during a police clash at a party in Embilipitiya.Deceased relations and friends claimed that it was a murder by police and not a natural death. They produced evidences in support of their claim including a CCTV camera recording.They alleged that even doctors were doctored to give forensic report in favour of the police.

As doubts  was cast on first forensic report, second  report was ordered.

Forensic report into the death of Sumith Prasanna was  submitted to the court, which is alleged to have been  issued according to the way former Embilipitiya ASP, D.W.C. Dharmaratna’s lawyer’s need , , Attorney-at-law Udul Premaratne .

This  second JMOs report into the death produced to the Embilipitiya Magistrate’s Court stated that Prasanna has died of excessive bleeding and not injuries causing by assaults or a fall.
