A case was filed in Jaffna magistrate court to produce kidnapped and disappeared PFF Laith and Kugan by the Peoples Freedom Front. Keheliya Rambukwela former Minister of Media in a press conference said that they were living and in the custody of Govt. Security forces during Mahinda’s regime.
In this connection he was summoned by the Jaffna Magistrate to give evidence. Today he appeared before the Jaffna magistrate to give evidence. There Keheliya Rambukwela admitted before Jaffna Magistrate that PFF Lalith and Kugan were in the custody of Security personnel before their disappearance. He said on information given by reliable personnel from security forces, he revealed in that press conference that they were in Govt.custody .
Followed by this disclosure by Keheliya Rambukwela in court today, in a press conference called in Jaffna PFF Secretary Pubudu Jagoda demanded further investigation into Lalith and Kurgan’s where about.
Further, he has accused Government ‘s attempt to abolish Prevention of Terrorism Act and replace it with another draconian Law.
In the meantime former TULF MP Premachandran called for a press conference and he too demanded further investigation by the state on disclosure made by Keheliya Rambukwela, which may find answers to number of people’s disappearance after abduction in white vans in Jaffna.
