A prison bus toppled in Mannar yesterday (16) while transporting eight inmates from Mannar to Vavuniya. In this incident four of the inmates were injured .
Residents of the area rushed to the scene of the accident and helped the injured to be hospitalized.
The bus swing off the road and toppled due to the slippery condition of the road. The driver was unable to control the bus.
