Free Insurance to All Citizens of Srilanka

All citizens in Srilanka will be insured free of charge.Those who are  affected by disaster will be paid Rs 25 lakhs

In the meantime  to provide immediate assistance to  those affected by inclement weather, Rs 300 million was allocated by the National Insurance Finance Order to pay compensation. This was made possible after Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake discussed this matter with the National Insurance finance Order authorities.
