Rajitha to Attend World Health Assembly in Geneva

Representing Sri Lanka Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratne and 13 other officials are due to attend the Assembly that will conclude on the 28th of May.
The 69th session of the World Health Assembly gets underway in Geneva, Switzerland under the theme “Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.”
The Health Assembly is the supreme decision-making body of WHO and is attended by delegations from all Member States.
Its main functions are to determine the policies of the Organization, supervise financial policies, and review and approve the proposed programme budget.
