Former SL Ambassador, Russia Blames Good Governance Govt.

Former Srilanka Ambassador for Russia, Udaya Weeratunga wanted by the Srilankan Government for questioning is dodging Srilankan authorities and roaming round the world. He reported to have met Mahinda Rajapakshe during Mahinda’s foreign trips in the recent past. A few Ministers and Members of Parliament made a cue and cry, that since Mahinda met a man in Srilank’s wanted list, Mahinda should be questioned by the police.

In the meantime Udaya Weeratunga made a statement to the effect, that  how he is allowed to stay in Ukraine and continue his doctorate studies, if he has supplied arms to militants fighting against Ukraine? Further, he said that there was no inquiry ordered by the Ukraine Government  regarding alleged arms dealing, as claimed by the Good Governance Srilanka government. In addition he said, that he is free to meet Mahinda or any other person at his will in any country. Good governance cannot stop this, he said. He blamed Good Governance Government for  carrying out bad publicity about him.
