GMOA Plan to a Strike

The GMOA in a statement  issued said authorities have amended the list of post intern appointments, that was agreed to by all parties. Therefore, the GMOA is planning to strike.

Accordingly the strike will be launched in Anuradhapura, Batticaloa, Ampara, Polonnaruwa, Gampola and Dickoya in the near future.

The GMOA however said the strike will be conducted in a manner that areas where relief efforts are underway will not be affected.
