The head of state Maithripala Sirisena has instructed authorities concerned to complete identifying land for the resettlement of displaced persons in the North by Friday. He has issued this deadline at a special discussion held in this regard at the Presidential Secretariat last evening.
Secretary to the President PB Abeykoon, Secretary of Defence Karunasena Hettiarachchi and Secretary to the Ministry of Land IAK Mahanama were also present at the discussion.
