Prohibition Imposed by Military on Eastern Chief Minister Removed

Immediately after his return from G 7 convention, President Mithreepala considered the issue involving Eastern Provincial Council chief Minister, the navy Officer and the declaration made by the defence secretary in this connection. He said to have issued direction to remove prohibition declared by the defence secretary.  Followed by this , as from Monday, the prohibition imposed by three forces on Eastern Province Chief Minister has been removed in the best interest of all said, the defence Secretary, who earlier declared three forces Military camps/ Installations out of bounds  to Eastern Provincial council Chief Minister. The Chief Minister of Eastern Provincial council thanked the President for his timely action.
