An order has been issued on top officials of the North Central Provincial Council (NPC) including the Chief Minister, the Ministers and the Governor to appear before the court.
The order was issued when a case filed against them was taken up for hearing before Judge Adithya Kantha Madduma Patabendige.
The case has been filed in connection with the allegations of misusing public funds when granting construction projects to certain parties and violating the tender procedure, reporter added.
All the Ministerial Secretaries have been ordered to appear before the Civil Appeal High Court of the North Central Province as well.
