Kelaniya University Reopen Today

The University of Kelaniya is scheduled to re-open today(01)  after the academic activities were suspended at the premises in April. All faculties except the Medical Faculty of the Kelaniya University were closed on the 26th of April owing to a spread of an infection due to flies.

The university was due to re-open on the 12th of May, however, the University Registrar delayed the re-opening owing to further inspections into the water used within the University.

The university premise was subject to inspection by the Public Health Inspectors Association and a team of health officials.
