A Mediation Board Appointed in North

A mediation board has been appointed to solve issues pertaining to residents of the North who lost their properties and houses during the conflict.
The board was appointed at an event held at the Jaffna District Secretariats office under the patronage of Minister of Justice Wijedasa Rajapaksa.
The committee will look into issues such as authenticity of ownership of properties in the North and of citizens who lost or abandoned their houses and properties during the war.
334 Mediation Boards have been established across the country to solve disputes among the public in which over 8200 mediators are engaged in voluntary service.
