Rishad’s Compassion Towards Sinhalese in Vavuniya District

During the war in Vanni like Tamils and Muslims, Sinhalese too had lost their homes and living in temporary shelters.

Rishad had made a visit to this war affected area and laid foundation stone for 25 houses to be built for displaced Sinhalese people in Iraperiyakulam in Vavuniya. He undertook to build  25 houses for sinhalese out of this personal funds is significant.

Northern Provincial Councilor Jeyatillake, Vavuniya Coordinator Muththu Mohamed, Public Relation Officer Mohideen and others participated in this function.

On this occasion Jeyatillake said though racists target Rishad without knowing the real facts, they should come to Vavuniya and Welioya to witness the development work carried out by Rishad.
