The government previously granted a grace period of one month to settle electricity and water bills for those who were affected by the recent natural and accidental disasters.
The relief granted to the victims of the recent natural disasters, floods, landslides and the explosion reported at the Salawa Army Camp to pay electricity and water bills has been further extended, by a further two months. In addition, those who have purchased vehicles on leasing have also been granted concessions, said Ravi Karunanayake
