The Samurdhi Development Officers Association is preparing a complaint to be lodged at the Human Rights Commission against Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare SB Dissanayake in connection with discrepancies in gratuity payments for 14,159 employees of the Divi Neguma Department.
The Union calls for the gratuity payment scheme to be suspended after taking into consideration all shortcomings.
