Special Leave For Muslims Schools on 7th & 8th on Account of Ramazan

All Muslims schools were closed as from 3rd June and scheduled to re open it on 7th July 2016. Minister of Post, Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs Abdul Haleem  has requested Ministry of Education Akila Viraj Kariyavasam to grant special holidays for Muslims schools to enable them to celebrate Ramazan. Minister Kariyavasam has considered this request and granted approval to give holidays on 7th and 8th for all Muslims schools in the island. To cover of these holidays August 16 th and 17th Muslims schools should  function. This was revealed by the Director Muslim Schools Development of the Ministry of Education Izad Thajudeen.
