Appointment of Fourteen Senior Police Officials as DIGs

Fourteen Senior Superintendents of Police have been selected   to be appointed as Deputy Inspector Generals of Police as from today.

The letters of appointment for the posts of Deputy inspector General of Police  will be presented at a ceremony held under the auspices of the Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara at Police head Quarters today (5).

Former Police spokesman and  Senior Superintendent of Police Ajith Rohana has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General in charge of the Colombo North Division.
