Price Reduction in Essential Goods ?

The government says attention has been drawn to the reduction of prices of essential consumer goods that were increased recently.

Co-Cabinet Spokesman Minister of Mass Media Gayantha Karunathileke said a committee was appointed under the advice of the President and the Prime Minister to look into the matter.

Speaking at the weekly Cabinet media briefing Minister Karunathileke said the matter is under review.
