Wimal Now Prefers Basil to Gota !

Joint opposition sources said, that NFF leader Wimal Weerawansa, once a die-hard loyalist of Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, has now become a follower of Basil Rajapaksha as  ex-president Mahinda Rajapaksa is against  the leadership of Gotabhaya in  a new political force of  the joint opposition. The current situation is that Wimal Weerawansa, Dinesh Gunawardena, Udaya Gammanpila and civil society activists including Nalaka Godahewa. and Mahinda Rajapakshe have  entrusted the organizing part of the new political force to Basil. Weerawansa was the main speaker at the rally organized by Basil in Badulla recently.

Loyalists of Gotabhaya are at a loss to understand  as to why  he has been sidelined from these activities, the sources added.
