BBS Gnanasara Thero Speaks his Mind
BBS Gnanasara Thero summoned a press conference yesterday at it’s head office at Kirulopona. At this conference he declared:

Holy Al-Quran sowing the seeds of fascists among our society. Hence, seeking legal advice to ban holy Al- Quran in Srilanka.

As Muslims in Srilanka is engaged in converting other religious group into Islam, land grabbing and unlawful marriages, immediately a solution should be found for these problems. If not, we will resort to armed struggle. Ulama Council and Sura Council should come to me and learn what is Islam.

The Government does not think about Buddhist or BBS which champions Buddhist Cause. Hence, the situation is created that Buddhist are confined to darkness.

Due to Muslims racism not only Buddhist even Muslims are affected and their future too at bleak.
Trincomale M.P. M.F.Thowfeek proposed the legislative enactment to promote and protect Islam through religious education based on Sharia laws . We have not protested and demonstrated against this legislative enactment. But , when we fight for Buddhist why did Muslim Politicians look at it as a racist act ? he asked. When religious prayers of all other religions are done with the doors opened, why they carry out their prayer under closed doors? Those who promote and propagate Islam secretly should come in open to debate with us. We know Islam very well. These Muslims organizations , which secretly submit memorandums and present false information to foreign missions, stating that the Islam is facing danger in Srilanka due to Buddhist racism should come forward to sit and discuss with us , he concluded
