Dengue Eradication Programme in Colombo Today

A special dengue eradication programme will be carried out today centred around the Presidential Official Residence and Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya areas. The programme will be carried out under the directives of the President’s office and the Civil Security Department from 9am to 2pm.

The government’s intention is to totally eradicate dengue from the entire island through the implementation of such programmes.
