Champika Ranawaka Called Tamil Extremist to Abandon Racism

At a party meeting in Gampaha yesterday (10), JHU general secretary, minister Patali Champika said, the Tamil extremists were taking the country backwards by demanding for federalism to the new draft constitution.
He  has urged Tamil extremists to abandon their racism and stand for the  unitary status in the path to true reconciliation.
Armed LTTE terrorists fought not for reconciliation, but for their plan to divide the country, he said.
When the south and the north are on a path to reconciliation, there is no need for what the terrorists had wanted, said Ranawaka.
The entire world is today rising up against terrorism, and we too, should follow them, he added.
