Thajudeen Murder Case Anura & Sumith Further Remanded

Former Senior DIG Anura Senanayake and former Narahenpita Crimes OIC Sumith Perera, who are in remand custody in connection with  the Wasim Thajudeen murder  case, were further remanded till  3rd August 2016 . They informed court that they have filed bail applications with the Colombo High Court.

The Additional Magistrate had earlier directed that he does not have jurisdiction to grant bail to the two suspects.
