Strong Winds Expected Today

Strong winds around 60 to 70 kilo meters per hour can be expected in the south western part and hilly areas of the island and in the western and southern sea areas during today and tomorrow.

Light showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in the Galle, Matara and Jaffna districts. Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Eastern and Uva provinces after 2.00 pm.

Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere.
