Gamini Navaratne Replaced by Senior DIG C.D Wickremaratne as the Administrative Officer of the Sri Lanka Police

Senior DIG , Gamini Navaratne ,who worked as the administrative officer of the Srilanka police retried recently . the Police Commission has decided to appoint Senior DIG of the South C.D Wickremaratne in his place .

The police Commission convened on Thursday has taken several decision including above replacement. Accordingly the current Senior DIG of the North W.F. U. Fernando will be appointed as the Senior DIG of the South.It was also decided to assign DIG Amarasiri Senaratne who is currently in charge of traffic and road safety, as the senior DIG of police in the North.
