The Government Intends to Increase the SL’s Future Foreign Investments by 5 Fold- CB Governor

Sri Lanka Central Bank Governor, Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy  said that the government intends to increase the country’s future foreign investments by five-fold.

He  made these comments while attending a discussion on Sri Lanka’s development challenges last evening.

He said that the FDIs into the country were seeing an upward trend thanks to the government’s foreign policy and new international trade agreements.

He  reiterated that these activities were helping boost exports which in turn was turning around the present economic issues in the country.
