President Cautioned SLFP Rebels to fall in line with the Party Activities or Loose Organizer posts

President Maithripala Sirisena has  met   the SLFP rebels yesterday and had a discussion with them.   He has categorically  told them  that they should support the party’s future activities or prepared to loose organizer posts.

President  appears to have not  discussed about the  Paada Yathra to be launched by the Joint Opposiion on July 28, at this meeting. However, he warned them not to divide the party by conspiring to form a new party.

According to UPFA General Secretary and Minister of Fisheries Mahinda Amaraweera, President Sirisena told them the party would be reorganised ahead of Local Government poll.  Those who do not work for the party would be replaced with a new set of SLFP  organizers, he said.
