President Ruled Out Support for Pada Yathra

There was a discussion held with a revolt MPs of the SLFP day before yesterday. After this meeting with the President, Prasanna Ranatunga reported to have told the press that they got the blessing and support of the President for the Pada Yathra, organized against the SLFP, UNP Joint Government.

President Maithree has denied making such a comment during the discussion with the revolt SLFP MPs.
