Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Galle via Colombo, and in the sea area extending from Kankasanturai to Batticaloa via Trincomalee.

Showers or thunder showers may occur at a few places in the other sea areas.

Winds will be south-westerlyin direction and speed will be 30-40 kmph.

The sea area extending from Hambantota to Trincomalee via Potuvil and the sea area extending from Puttalam to Kankasanthurai via Mannar can be fairly rough at times as the wind speed can increase up to 50 kmph.
