520 Operating Teams for 3 Day Dengue Prevention Programme

 Ministry of Health, Nutrition, and Indigenous Medicine will organize 3 day that prevention programs are currently underway in Kandy, Galle, Matara and Matale districts.

Prevention Programme in the Western Province. from 1st August 2016.  Nearly 520 operating teams including tri-forces personnel and health officials will be deployed during the Dengue Prevention Program.

Director General of Health Services Dr. Palitha Maheepala said due to different programs implemented throughout the country, a considerable reduction has been observed in dengue cases.
