Iran Demands Unpaid Bill of US 256 Million to Commence Crude Oil supply to Srilanka

Petroleum Minister, Chandima Weerakody had a meeting with the top Iranian top Officials regarding import of crude oil from Iran.
Alternate various options to settle the sale was considered in consultation with the Attorney General’s Department Officials. In the meantime Weerakody said that an agreement was reached to settle the dues to Iran and purchase of crude oil from Iran
