The Non-academic University Staff launched a Strike Continues

 The non-academic university staff launched a strike on July 27 placing seven demands.

The University Trade Union Joint Committee said  that steps will be taken to continue trade union action.

Chairman of the University Trade Union Joint Committee, Edward Malwattage says that activities at universities have been hindered due to the trade union action.

The Trade Union Joint Committee says the strike action is continuing as no solutions have been brought forward.
