Mahinda’s Next Move Will be Towards Taking over the Power

At the end of the Pada Yathra  Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa addressed the gathering at the Lipton Circus yesterday (Aug. 1), where he  said that the next time they come  in a protest march with the masses, it will be to “take everything away”.  This  was just a “rehearsal” for that.
Mahinda Rajapaksa further stated that it will provide a training for opposition MPs on how to achieve a government, how to struggle for that and how to select plans and strategies while in the opposition.  He stated that the incumbent government’s is governing taking refuge  under  CID, FCID and Bribery Commission, and that the public will not be deceived by this.
Mahinda   said that the government should think that  with in the short period of  coming to power, how a massive  opposition built up against it. He claimed that the protest march was the largest in the country’s entire history and that the struggle would continue on for the victory of the people.
