Action Against Misbehaved SLFP Members Opposite SLFP Headquarters

Pada Yathra commenced in Gatambe, Peradeniya on the 28th of July reached Colombo on 1st August 2016 . While Pada Yathra procession was passing SLFP headquarters at Darly road, some of the crowd shouted slogans  in an unruly manner and insulted the party leadership.

General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Minister Duminda Dissanayake said  action will be taken against those party members,  who behaved in an unruly manner.

Minister Dissanayake  said media footage and videos circulating on social media will be observed prior to taking action.

The SLFP General Secretary added the Central Committee that convenes in the near future will arrive at a decision pertaining to the SLFP supporters who engaged in the march.
