Gun Totting 3 Robbers Arrested in Beliatta, Tangalla

On receiving complaints from public that a gang of 3 or 4 were threatening people at gun point and robbed their goods, Tangalla Criminal Investigation Division Officers have placed a trap in Beliatta and caught 3 of them. At the time of their arrest police recovered T56 Guns, 2 magazines and 53 bullets. During interrogation they admitted having committed robbery in several areas of Thangalla. They have told the Police all the goods stolen from the public have been sold. However police managed to recover 7.47 grams of gold balls and two pairs of ear studs. Suspects are from Beliatta, Nagulugamuwa and Matara areas. Police make further inquiries.
