Part of the Income From Tamilini’s Book to Magaragama Cancer Hospital

Former Leader of the LTTE women’s wing, Tamilini alias  Sivagami Jeya Kumaran surrendered to the security forces at the end of the war in 2009. She was affected by cancer and admitted to Magaragama cancer  hospital. While she was in hospital, she wrote a book called ” Shade of a Sharp Sword” . This book has been translated into Sinhala language too.

Tamilini died in October 2015. Her last wish is to give part of the income received from the sale of the book to the Maharagama cancer hospital.

Accordingly, her husband has handed over Rs 300,000 to the Magaragama cancer  hospital.
