Accident at Dambulla Cost 2 Lives

Two individuals were killed in an accident that occurred in the Kap-Ela area along the Wewala road in Dambulla.The accident occurred when a backhoe and a motorcycle collided.

The two individuals travelling on the motorcycle were killed during the collision. The deceased were a married couple and were residents of the Kandalama area in Dambulla.

The victims were of 27 and 30 years of age. The bodies of the victims are placed at the Dambulla hospital. Police said that the driver of the backhoe was arrested following in connection with the incident.
