VAT Legislation Unconstitutional …..

The Speaker, Karu Jeyasuriya informed the house today , that the Supreme Court has informed, that it cannot give a decision on VAT amendment bill, as it was not presented following due procedure. In other words,  the provisions in the constitution have not been followed.
