Srilankans Achievements in Rio Olympics

Judo :

Chamara Nuwan Dharmawardena who took part in the Judo event yesterday was able to win the first round. Although he was able to defeat Samoan Barith Water in the first match, Chamara could not win the match against Georgian Laasa Saudathuva.

Air rifle  and Weight Lifting :

Mangala Samarakoon was unable to qualify for the second round of the air rifle event. Anton Sudesh who competed in the B Category of the 62 kilo weight lifting class event was also unable to record a victory. Both failed.
