Elmo Fernando Passed Away

Senior journalist Elmo Fernando has passed away.

He was 75. Counting around 47 years in the profession, he was the Colombo correspondent for the BBC and also head of Sinhala section at Veritas Radio of the Philippines.

The funeral will take place at the Roman Catholic cemetery at Battaramulla at 4.00 pm today (11).
