Faizer Mustapha Orders Removal of Temporary Business Structures in Colombo Town

 The Environmental unit of the Colombo DIG’s office has done a survey on temporally structures put up in Colombo city to do business. They have  identified 720 such structures are in existence.  Out of which 699 are in Pettah.  Two hundred and twenty one  (221) lotteries structures,  120 mobile structures and  45   news paper selling structures.

After closely examining the survey report of the environmental unit  of the DIG’s office  in Colombo, Minister of Local Government and Provincial Councils, Faizer Mustapha has ordered the police and Colombo municipality officers to remove all temporary  structures with immediate effect.
