Udaya Gammanpila on Contempt of Court ……..

Parliamentarian, Udaya Gammanpila has made a statement commenting Hirunika Premachandra’s involvement in the abduction of a youth in Dematagoda, which brings disrespect to the court.

Following directions given by  the Attorney General, he has been summoned at 10 am to the Keselwatte police to record a statement in this connection  charges of disrespecting the court. Keselwatte police will record his statement and seek Attorney General’s advise for further action.
