Ex- UNP MP Dinesh Dodamgoda Attacked & Admitted to ICU

Former UNP MP Dinesh Dodamgoda had been returning home from his office at Epitamulla, Pitakotte, when his car was blocked. An assailant attacked him severely.  He has been admitted to the ICU of Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital following an assault today. Assailant reported to have come to the hospital after him in  an Allion 260 bearing no: CAC – 4678.

The car had been imported on a duty free license and registered to Rasanjali Anuruddhika Wettasinghe of 20/1, 8th Lane, Ananda Balika Mawatha, Pagoda Road, Pitakotte.

The assailant  has lodged a complaint with Mirihana police that Dodamgoda had assaulted him.

The attacker is said to be a drug addict.
