A 26-year-old man was killed and two persons were injured in a clash during a birthday party at Neelammahara Road, Maharagama last night, Police said.

They said an argument that arose during the party might have been the reason for the clash. The injured were admitted to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital and Madusha Desharanga, a resident of Bokundara had succumbed to his injuries upon admission to the hospital. Maharagama Police are investigating.
