FM, Ravi Requests AG to Investigate CBSL Bond Issue Again

The Auditor General’s Department has taken measures to launch an investigation in connection with  the Central Bank bond issue once again, as per request of Finance Minister, Ravi Karunayake.

Accordingly, a detailed report is said to be made into the bond transactions that took place at the Central Bank from the years 2009 to 2015.

He added that officials at the Central Bank have shown the fullest co-operation by agreeing to provide the necessary documents, needed for the compilation of the report.
