Yala National Park Closed For Construction Work From Tomorrow

Minister of Sustainable Development and Wildlife Gamini Jayawickrama Perera said, tourists and locals will not be allowed to travel in the Block 1 of the Yala National Park from tomorrow (1) till 15 October. But they will only be allowed to travel in Blocks 3, 4 and 5 in the Yala National Park as construction of these blocks have been completed.

Tourists and locals can enter these blocks from the Galge access road to the Yala National Park in the main road of Buttala to Kataragama.

Furthermore, there are two bungalows available in Block 5 of the Yala National Park with the important requirements of tourists and the local community.
