President Dismisses Baseless Rumours on Removal of War Heroes Monument

Racist and false rumours are being carried out by rumour mongers stating, that the war heroes monument was deliberately removed near the Kurunegala town. This was totally a canard and the President has out rightly rejected those allegations. President said in the development process various needs arise. If there was a need to remove a war heroes monument, he had already given instructions to reinstall them at better place giving them respect and prominent.
