150 th Police Heroes’ Day Today

The 150th Police Heroes’ Day Commemoration will be held at the Police Field Force Headquarters, Bambalapitiya today from 1.30 p.m. under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena. Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, Opposition leader R. Sampanthan and Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara will be among the participants which will also include ministers and parliamentarians. The commemorative event to mark the 150th Police Heroes Day will commence with the IGP hoisting the police flag. The celebration will be followed by the police march past, cultural performances and dance items by the police cultural troupe.
